Oh, I went on a girls trip to Amelia Island in June! It is such a cute beach town. The only time we were in Jacksonville was for the airport, we didn't go back there once we were in Amelia Island. It's a very laid back town, you do need a car though. My Friends didn't want to do too much except go to beach and drink. We did go to the historic district, I really wanted to take the tours they offer. I also really wanted to go horse riding on the beach. We did take a sunset cruise which is a lot of fun.Before we went I had put together a whole list of of activities, restaurants, etc...If you want, FM me your email and I would be happy to send it to you! My husband used to live in Jacksonville so we go fairly often to visit his son. On previous visits we've been to Amelia Island, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and Palm Coast. St. Augustine is lovely and I would recommend going there and spending some time.
