IVF Stims
I know it varies, but how long do you stim for when doing IVF?
Do you go in for monitoring every day or just towards the end closer to ER?

I stimmed for 8 days which for some is short but it varies depending on how your body responds...I went in on Day 1, Day 4 and then Day 6,7 & 8 for monitoring.

I stimmed for 8 days, which was on the shorter side. For monitoring, I believe I went in on days 1, 4, 6, 7, 8. Compared to an IUI, there's a lot more monitoring.

For the newbie to IVF and just finished her pills- what exactly is Stim? Guess I'll be learning all of this Saturday when i go to my appointment for my first day of 'shots'. Just curious.

My first cycle where I made it to retrieval I stimmed for 7days. My last fresh cycle in November I stimmed for 9 days and went in for monitoring 4 times.

I stimmed for 9 days, and went for monitoring day 1,3,5,6,7,8,9. Day 10 was trigger (with am monitoring) day 12 was retrieval.
