IVF - how much?
My DH and I will most likely be doing IVF, and our insurance covers 3 tries. Does anyone know a ballpark figure of how much it costs if we have to pay out of pocket?

i think it depends on ur insurance and if ur insurance also covers meds...

About $15000...depending on the situation and whether you need ICSI, assisted hatching, how much meds...

Three tries is actually pretty generous when it comes to insurance. Best of luck to you and hopefully you won't need a 4th try.

Depends on where you go, what your protocol is, whether your insurance covers your meds or not. Without the cost of meds my RE is $6500
ETA:
Wait...that was just ER and Transfer. Sonos dont come out of my IF coverage and do not go towards my lifetime max...

if you have IVF coverage for 3 tries, your out of pocket should be minimal.

I'm hoping problems can be resolved with DH and we won't have to do IVF until absolutely necessary, but things don't sound too hopeful at this point (won't know until DH does another SA). Thanks for the input!!!
