IVF - Don't think its my time yet
Hey ladies,
Just an update on me. I went for my BETA this morning and although I didn't hear from Dr. B yet, I don't think it worked this cycle.
I tested at home twice yesterday and once this morning and BFN. Plus I started spotting this morning. I know it's not official until I get the bloodwork, but I am mentally preparing myself to hear the news!!!
It was our first cycle and everything seemed to be working in our favor. I had my moment yesterday where I let myself cry and feel disappointed. Now I am just anxious to move on to the next step. We have 5 frozen embies so I guess next cycle will be a FET.
Can I start the FET as soon as I get my period?

Hang in there. I'm in the same boat, I got on Wed for my beta but just don't feel like this was it for us. We also have 5 frozen embies, Dr. B said if the IVF wasn't a success we could move right into a frozen cycle.

Yes, I'm sure you'll meet with the Dr. and he'll ask you what you want to do. I opted to do my FET cycle immediately. It was pretty easy except for the PIO shots (hate them! ). A lot of people do better with FET cycles than fresh (I was one of them!  ). Good luck!
