I've got issues
I have a hard time telling people that I am pregnant because I can't seem to say that word. I hate the word pregnant. I don't know why... maybe because growing up it was such a big no no so it feels bad to me... I don't know. I just really hate the sound of that word.
Please tell me I'm not the only crazy here.

darnit...I just wrote a whole long post on how I totally understand and it some how dissapeared!
Well anyway...i was saying that I get what your saying and although I don't feel weird saying the word, I feel weird going to clients for work (CPA firm). I feel a little unprofessional strolling in w/my big old belly and answering their sometimes important business related questions, ya know? I think its along the same lines...

Its just the word that icks me out, not the concept. I think being pregnant is great, especially since it took so long. Thats why it bothers me that the word bothers me... because I would love to shout it from the rooftops.
But the word is just a thing with me. Just like a friend of mine hates the word "moist". So I told a friend of mine yesterday that I was "with child". I just couldn't spit the word out.

OMG... I can totally relate to this feeling, Ive actually rolled my belly under the table during meetings...glad Im not the only one!!!!

Expecting would be good then...
 All my friends know I hate the word "moisten".
