IUI question- cross-post

I have no idea how to link the posts... sorry! I already posted on infertility board.

Hopefully, I will O pretty soon (usually cd 14-16). My dr said I can come in for IUI the next morning- I usually test OPK at night. Do any of you go in the same day? Should I be testing earlier in the day so I can get in the office? My last IUI was actually the second day after my smiley and I did get pg, but ended in m/c. I was just wondering what everyone else's time frame was like. Thanks!

mine was done by a GYN not an RE so it was done completely backwards.

I took clomid days 4-8; went in for the IUI on day 13 b/c i was told it will make me ovulate on day 14...NOT...I got a peak reading on CBEFM on day 16-17.

If you're using oPK's and not the CBEFM, i would test the same time you usually do, and then call to go in the next day. the surge means it will happen soon, so once you see the lines...going in right after will probably be good timing.
