IUI Question...
For anyone that has had an IUI did your RE/Dr ever leave the speculum in after the IUI for 15 mins?

Re: IUI Question...
Nope. Speculum came out immediately then I lay there for 10 minutes. I could Only imagine how uncomfortable that would be.

Re: IUI Question...
Every Dr is different but yes it was left in..how uncomfortable..at first it hurt but once I relaxed I was ok. I won't be using this Dr. again..very uncomfortable..I was texting DH and telling him about it and all he could say was "That's Hot!!"

Re: IUI Question...
Your dr must have forgotten he left it in b/c there's absolutely no medical reason to leave it in after the IUI. Really weird.
Are you seeing an RE?

IUI Question...
Yeah this doesn't really sound right. I must be a huge baby because speculums hurt and I would have definitely made them take it out or give me a pretty damn good reason why it had to stay.

I hope you didn't do many IUIs with your dr. He sounds a little kooky.
REs will give you much more personalized treatment geared to your medical situation. Good luc,.

Re: IUI Question...
No this was the 2nd one since my surgery...and it was the covering Dr. not my reg. Dr. I've never seen this one before! I didn't care who did it as long as it got done!! After this I'm gonna take some time off and research a good RE to go to..some how I think we may have to go through IVF route. Not covered under my hubby's insurance so we are looking into grants..etc etc.. But I'm staying positive that AF does not show her ugly face this month!!
