IUI and gender?
Just curious, if you got pg by an IUI did you have just one or back-to-back and what gender did your DC end up being?
I'm just curious because I had 1 IUI 36 hours post trigger and we are having a boy. I have read that the closer to ovulation you BD the higher the chances are of having aboy, and I want to see if this is true since my RE only does IUI's at 36 hours post trigger (no back-to-backs).

I don't know if the same applies with IUI- because all the sperm are put into the uterus and don't have far to go to get to the eggs in the fallopian tubes. So it's just a matter of which sperm penetrates the egg first.

i didn't need to trigger. The RE put me on clomid, I tracked ovulation and after my positive I went in the next morning and had 1 IUI then BDed the next 2 nights. Not sure which method worked but we only had 1 IUI lol

I had an iui as well dont know what we are having yet but my dr said its a 50/50 chance for boy or girl.
