IUI #2 Wednesday and sample drop off ?
Went in today- CD 12. Had 3 follicles. One was 24 or 26, 18, and a smaller one. Pretty much a similar response on 50mg and 100mg of Clomid. They called and said I have to trigger tonight between 10-12. Last cycle the RE gave me the trigger so this is the first cycle DH is giving me the shot. IUI is Wednesday at 10 am. This cycle is a little bit different because I am triggering later in the day and having the IUI 36 hours after trigger as opposed to 27 hrs. Hoping this will do the trick.
Last cycle DH came with and produced at the office right before IUI. He has Jury Duty and won't be able to come...boo. I asked for the cup today and they gave me that and 2 forms to fill out. When they called I said I would drop off at 9am. When I looked at the forms they say the male must be there with a picture ID or the form has to be notorized. (I go to Dr. Zapantis in Jericho if that matters.) Do you just drop off the sample or does Dh have to be there. I'm thinking maybe he signed something when we first started going there. IDK??? Experiences....THANKS

You said he has to b there with id or a form has to b notarized. So im assuming u have to get a form notarized. What a pain in the a55!!!
Do you have the form?

We had DH sign our paper in the office stating I can drop off. If you sign it outside of office it must be notarized. It is a PITA but a necessary evil.

Same thing here. My husband signed the consent once in front of them (otherwise need notarized) and then I was able to bring his sample by myself every time going forward.
BTW... I just did the same scenario... trigger at 11pm and just 1 IUI 36 hours later. I had always done back to back IUIs and was hesitant of the change. Happy to say I am currently 12dpo and have had 2 + HPTs so that scenario can definitely work!!

Thanks ladies. Just called the REs office and figured this all out. I'm hoping it goes well tomorrow. Sad DH can't come with me...stupid jury duty.

Wow thats great news. CONGRATS!!! You give me some hope. My RE never mentioned back to back IUIs. How does that work? What IUI # was this? Thanks

This was my 3rd cycle TTC#2. Cycle 1 was BFP but resulted in a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Cycle 2 was BFN. And here we are at cycle 3... hoping for sticky dust!!
In previous cycles, they had me give the trigger shot around 7pm and come in 24 hours later for an IUI. If I had not ovulated (which I never did) they scheduled me for another IUI the next morning (48 hrs after trigger). Since that scenario had worked for me I was scared about only 1 IUI.... but here we are again!

So sorry for your loss for cycle 1. Sad. Congrats on the BFP. Thanks for sharing your info....it helps. It makes me think it can happen for me one day. We are unexplained so I have no idea whats going on in there. Maybe the change of your protocol did the trick. Thats what I am hoping for us. I think last cycle was a day too early. Trigger on CD 12 27hrs later IUI on CD 13. I usually O on CD 14 so this time Trigger on CD 12 nighttime 35 hrs later IUI on CD 14. I HOPE this works. Last cycle we bd the night after IUI- couldnt do it that night too sore. No way we can in the AM bc I go to work really early. Wondering if its worth it to BD the night after IUI??? Hope you get a pos beta!!!

K i guess.. Nothing to report lol i am 5dpo and i have to go in tomorrow am to check progesterone levels n determine if i need that. Im hopin i dont.. I really dont like all the meds n i feel bloated n i prob have gained weight bc im eating a lot! This stress causes me to eat too! Im scared to go on the scale!!!!

Hoping your prog check goes well. My RE puts me on it regardless. Super gross. I hear you on feeling bloated and gaining weight. I have gained 5 lbs since January when I started this process. I gained another 5 lbs before even going to the RE with the stress of TTC. Now that its nice out I'm taking walks at night. I have always worked out a lot but these meds make me tired so I been slacking.
