IUI & BD?
So we have decided to do our fiirst IUI cycle this month due to DH's low count( concerntration) I still think he needs to re-do his sample. So I am monitoring and now I have two follies one the right and one on the left that look good. I filled my prescription for the HCG trigger shot which I am terrified for. I am sure this is the least of my worries but for some reason it's freaking me out! My question is do we BD at all during this and when today is CD 14 I am still using CBEFM to check for ovulation? I expect to O in the next week and also do the IUI? I am going in tomorrow again to check blood and sono... Thanks for listening!

You have the trigger. No need to check anything. After the trigger, you WILL ovulate.
The trigger shot is not that bad. Very small needle.
If your DH has low sperm count, it's NOT a good idea to BD before (but OK to BD after). You want to give the best sample possible.

Just wanted to add that DH should obstain for 2-4 days before you have your IUI. My DH also has a low sperm count but we found that his motility was so much better when he waited 2 or 3 days and not more than that.

Thanks.. I think we were so unsure he had been "storing up" when I went in this morning for monitoring I explained the situation. She told me to BD this morning so that if its in the next day or so it would not be old & stale.-WE DID I am hoping IUI is Wed so he had a enough time to rejuvinate and it wasn't too old and stale. Now I hope it's not too soon either! ahhh

Good luck!
I never even felt the trigger shot before my IUI's. The 1st time I did it, I was crying and screaming like a lunatic before DH did it-----all for nothing! It was painless!
