It's official...we are HOMEOWNERS!
I could barely contain my excitement today...we are homeowners!! God is just amazing...we really had a smooth closing, or like my sister (and RE agent said) "the smoothest loan closing ever".
So as of yesterday, it's official...we own a home!!   We never thought this would have happened, especially so young and soon after the wedding...so we are feeling very blessed. This definitely makes moving so worth while (for those that don't know, we moved to GA).
We slept in the new house last night (on an air mattress  ) and felt insanely happy.

Congratulations.Beautiful house......smart move to leave the NY region!!!!!
Whenever I get married, we plan on buying land and building a 3000-4000 square foot house for under 250,000 in Upstate NY, 2 hours from the city.....
Prices on LI and boroughs are so ridiculous. And its not true about pay being much lower in other areas, I've found same or even higher pay when researching.
I rather live my life, rather than working to live

Aw, thank you guys!!
And yes, it's in a suburb of Atlanta, GA. We could never afford anything remotely close to that in NY. The sacrifice was worth it!
Lori...can't wait to have you over...
Owning a home is pretty much the best feeling in the world. To think a year ago I was getting ready to be a bride...now we're homeowners...babies are next!
