It's almost bonus time - help me spend $1,000 or less

So I am getting my annual bonus in Feb. I always put it towards bills or stuff for the home but I have decided to take $1,000 to get myself something awesome

last year, I bought myself this coach bag



and a laptop with my 1,000

any suggestions for this year's splurge

NO clothes as I need to lose some weight before I go clothes shopping

maybe a nice ring, another cute bag

what to do, what to do ?????

i am going to have the same 'dilemma' in March

i am either going to do a full spa day and this bracelet

or spend it all on more personal training session

If I had that much money for me, I'd spend it on some personal training lessons to get my arse back into shape.

is that something you'd have time for or be interested in?

Hmm .. I guess it depends if you want to splurge it on one really expensive thing or 2 less expensive things...

You mentioned possibly another bag... do you need another wallet now too? Perhaps you can get a designer bag with a matching wallet!

ok, so I would buy a KILLER outfit, starting from the "ground" up with a sinfully gorgeous (and $$) pair of shoes.

then i'd buy some tights...maybe Wolford...and nicely tailored and sexy skirt (black for versatility) and two different shirts...one to subdue the skirt a bit and another to ramp up the vixen.

finally, I'd go to Sephora or my favorite make up counter and ask them for a makeover, then buy everything they use.

sadly, I won't be getting a bonus like this from my employer anytime soon, so enjoy it and I'll live vicariously through you!

I NEVER ever spend money on myself and last year, I decided that every year, at bonus time, I will spend a bit on myself.....the majority of my bonus (everything except the 1k ) is going to bills/stuff for the home

Bags or shoes b/c they are so much fun to shop for and they you can wear them over and over again! Check out Rebecca Minkoff for bags and Miu Miu for shoes...

For a ring, I would look at David Yurman or similar styles. I still love them and there are many in your price range.

I would buy a nice piece of designer jewelry, i.e. Tiffany, David Yurman, John Hardy. I also like the wallet idea - maybe something from Gucci?

I would either get:

1.) David Yurman necklace
2.) Diamond Tiffany key pendent
3.) hire a personal trainer that comes to the house (this is probably the one I would do) because they work around your schedule.

Either a really nice bag and/or nice piece of jewelry - Tiffany ring/neck or David Yurman piece.
