DH's parents are from Bari too - I wonder if they know your dad? They are from Sannicandro, Bari.
Either my MIL or FIL are from Sannicandro... They probably grew up with one another!

I am not an Italian Girl, but I could not help but jump in on this one.
My wife and her family are from an area just outside Casino - Pignataro Interamna. I was born in Brindisi and my father came for Trieste
My oldest is named Antonio
Second is Joseph Valentino
and my daughter is Francesca Maria
You can tell we opted for those Irish names

So thats: Sicilian, Barese and Calabrese 
when did your grandfather move here?

My other grandfather from Monreale, Sicily
My grandmother from Sciacca, Sicily I believe.

Both of my dh's parents are from Bari.
I'm like a 3-4th generation Italian.
omg where in bari? u have to find out. my fathers from there they may know each other.. fm me their last name. ill fm u mine too

My FIL is from benevento and still has family there... I wonder if they know each other i know it's a small town...
It is funny b/c my neighbor that lives in back of me is from Benevento - he knows my dad's family not from Italy but when they all got here to the US. Benevento really looks great now - they totally renovated the city - nice stores and restaurants. It llooks great!

Oh wow!! my dad is actually from Pignataro Interamna also!! I said Casino bc it's the bigger "city". Have you been to Pignataro? I LOVE it there!! Such a small town! Is your wife's maiden name D'Alessandro or Evangelista? That's what most of the families in Pignataro are! LOL. My mom is from San Giorgio (right near Pignataro)

Yay!! Funny thing is...my SIL's family is from the same village in Naples too!!! We had no idea until her parent's brought my neice a t-shirt!
