It showered over Memorial Day weekend!!
I can't believe I waited this long to post about my shower -- I've been waiting for pictures, but still dont have any yet.
Anyway, my mom and MIL threw my shower on Sunday and they did such a wonderful job! It was at La Terrazza in New City, NY -- the food was fantastic (and the cake was amazing! From Joseph's Bakery in Nanuet). Everyone was so generous and CJ got tons of clothes and gifts. I had such a great time and it was so nice being back in NY seeing everyone. We played a few games that were really cute (bingo, guess how big mommy's belly measures, and another game where everyone guesses which attributes I want the baby to have). They kept everyone entertained and some of the answers were really surprising!
We still had to go out and finish off the registry because we didn't get everything we needed, but we figured that would happen. And I got a few things at "Once Upon a Child" for like half the price of what they sell them at BRU!
We received a few really adorable more "personal" gifts that I'm in love with. My brother (who will be the baby's Godfather) got him an adorable little chair for his room that matches our Yankees theme. And my MIL made us a Yankees ceramic plate for his room as well!
