It must be a plot...
Because I cannot find any stage 1 jars around my neighborhood. I in particular wanted beechnut but was willing to buy another brand. But I don't see any stage 1's. Only stages 1 and 2...
I must be in a dream somewhere. Someone pinch me!
I can't even find it online. Does anyone know of a store online where I might find Stage 1 beechnut or gerber fruits.
No making my own baby food is not an option...

I didn't see much of a difference with stage one apples and stage 2 apples. The size of the jar is just bigger.

Just remember though that if DS doesn't finish the jar within 2 days of opening it you should chuck the leftovers. At least i do, maybe some moms do it differently, but I wouldn't mess with that so early, especially since the jars aren't expensive. But that's just me.

Re: It must be a plot...
Dd just started solids about 2 weeks ago, so she has't been eating them much but those Stage 1 jars take her 3 feedings to finish with her cereal.
ETA: there's no way i would be able to get her to finish the larger jar

Did you try a supermarket? TRU & BRU sells it - but a little on the side

That's why the larger jars are for older babies I guess. It all depends on the kind of eater your baby is.
