I dont think so... is it at a super fancy place? You could also dress it up with cute sandals, a neclace, earrings and how you wear your hair. Looks good!

I don't think so at all. Besides you're supposed to be comfy.
The only thing that worries me is that it's a dress and you'll be doing lots of bending down and so forth to open all the presents.
In other words, you'll have to make a conscious effort to remain lady like!

I think its beautiful!!! I might skip the wifebeater tank underneath though & opt for a cute little shrug or a light cardigan instead??
But I definitely don't think its too casual, it looks totally appropriate to me!!!

Sorry, I agree. It looks like a beach cover-up to me. You also have to think of the leg closing factor while you are opening your gifts. That's what kept me from wearing a dress.
