Is this not outrageous?
My friend is doing her first IVF cycle in PA this week. She is actually two days ahead of me. Anyway, her transfer was scheduled for this morning and last night she started to feel crappy. In the middle of the night she got up to go to the bathroom and fainted. Her DH took her to the hospital and they said her sodium was too low. Consequently, they canceled her cycle. She is devastated! To add insult to injury, guess where she is in the hospital?

I feel so bad for her!!!!

Oh no, your poor friend. Hope she is feeling better soon.
And when I had my ectopic this past Christmas, I was in the OB ward too.....talk about depressing.

Aww, that's awful. I'm so sorry for your friend. That is rough. I hope they are freezing the embies and she'll do the cycle next month.

She just called me and she said that they are transferring tomorrow on Day 6. I asked how she managed that and she said that she cried. Does anyone know anything about Day 6 transfers?

I'm in PA too, I wonder if we used the same practice? Anyway, that's HORRIBLE that they put her on the maternity ward, but I'm glad to hear she's still getting the transer

That's the worst, that's where I was ( for my miscarriage)
everyone was coming in and congratulating me
i was so upset, thankfully I was only there for a day.
I hope it works out for your friend
