is this normal or should I be worried??
I am almost 23 weeks pregnant and all of a sudden I feel like the baby is really really low. I've always been carrying on the lower side I think because when I feel the baby move its always down lower. But all of a sudden it just feels even lower. Its putting a lot of pressure on my pelvic area. Its a little painful too. I read that some of you ladies feel the baby all the way by your ribs... The baby is not anywhere near there for me.
Should I call my doctor or is this normal? My husband wants me to do whatever I feel comfortable with. I don't want to ask my mom or she will freak out and then freak me out even more. Thanks for the advice!!

If it's going to make you feel better call the doctor. That is what they are there for. Honestly I don't think it's anything to worry about. I've felt this baby very low the whole way through when my son was very high until the end but I know the worrying can drive you crazy so don't feel like you're doing something wrong by calling.

I have always felt this baby so low as well. I don't remember this with my first pregnancy.

Your doctor is there to help you and reassure you. If you think it's going to make you feel better I would call. With that being said I have felt this baby low the entire time. I often read about girls feeling their babies kick them in the ribs. I feel like I'm always getting kicked in the nether regions!

I have felt like I'm being kicked in the cervix (which is awesome because I have a very short cervix and had stitches put in to help it).
Sometimes it helps to prop your bottom on some pillows and lay there for a while.
It can't hurt to call your Dr. if you feel like you want to, it may make you feel better.

Re: is this normal or should I be worried??
This is #3 for me and I have never felt any of my guys high-- like in the ribs area like everyone describes. I'm 25 weeks now and I seriously feel like this baby is right above my bladder at ALL TIMES. It's weird to sit down sometimes bc I feel like I have to move him up to sit! But totally call the dr. to help you feel better about it.
