DS was always a very social baby. He started smiling at 4w, by 6w was smiling at me, by 2m smiling at daddy and grandmoms, by 3m smiling at any stranger that looked his way, and actually watching people wondering why they aren't smiling at him. Just a few weeks ago, if you where patient and kept in his view, you'd probably get a good dose of baby babble.
But now, if I am holding him and his grandmom came near, talking to me then started smiling and talking to DS. He giggled and turned away, wanted nothing to do with her. He did the same thing to DH when I was holding him. He's starting to do this a lot. He did it once with me when DH was holding him.
This is normal?
