Is this normal?
Okay, so we dtd on the last day of menstraul cycle which ended a lot earlier than normal. AF normally sticks around for 7-8 days but this month she was completely gone on day 5.
Well here I am 3 days after dtd and I have had light cramps all day and just a lot of discomfort. At first I thought it was in my head but it's definitely not.
Is this normal? Any ideas what this could be?
Sorry if I may sound ignorant once again, this is all new to me.
Also, when would be the best time for me to take a test?
I am growing very anxious.
Thanks for listening

Re: Is this normal?
So if AF ended on CD (cycle day) 5, and it's 3 days after, you are on CD8 or so. Is the pain in your ovaries? My only guess would be that it's ovulation pain. Are you just coming off the pill?

For the past two days I was experiencing slight cramping in my pelvic area, than I felt some pain and now light cramping again
No, I was never on the pill.

Re: Is this normal?
Obviously if you're that uncomfortable, I will def. recommend seeing your doctor. But I know when I first start to TTC, I was just more in tune with my body, so I noticed every cramp and twinge a lot more. A lot of ladies on here, since TTC, can say they actually feel an egg drop - maybe this is what's happening with you!

I appreciate all the information ladies...I will wait a few more days, if this continues I will see my doctor.
Thank you!

Re: Is this normal?
Keep BDing b/c sounds like your just approaching ovulation! And to answer the second part of your question - do you know how long your avg. cycle is? If you have a 28-day cycle - looks like you can test on Christmas or sometime around then!
