Is there a such thing as 19 month old sleep regression? My ds has stopped sleeping - please help!!
My 19 month olds sleep has become horrible over the past few weeks. He used to sleep 8:30-8/8:30. He's progressively began to get up earlier and is now waking at 6 am screaming to get up. I've tried to put him back down, tried both earlier and later bedtime ...and it keeps getting earlier!! He also used to nap no problem. Put him down and he was out in 3 mins for an hour-hour and a half. Now I put him down and hell just scream his head off for an hour. I bought the room darkening liner..that didn't work either. I have no idea what to do. I know he's exhausted but won't sleep. And gets so tired around dinner that now he's not eating just getting cranky...changing that time did nothing either. Anyone else been thru this?? I am pregnant and so tired going on no sleep and having a super cranky toddler all day. Please tell me its a phase!!!

DS has been doing the same things on and off the past few weeks (he's also 19 months). For him, it's a combination of his room getting too bright and hearing us walking around the house. The one thing I have noticed is whe he wakes up like that (either in the am or from a nap) his gums are inflamed and you can see the little "bubbles" on his gums, so I am attributing it to teething and hoping it will pass. Maybe it's your DS teeth as well?
