Is the water company responsible for fixing the concrete...?
We have 2 curb skirts (I think that's what it's called....the part of the driveway that goes down so you don't pull your car out over the curb)
One is connected to our driveway and is fine. The other one is on the other side of the front of our house but there's no driveway attached to it (we bought the house a year ago and it's been like that since we moved in)
Anyway, on the "skirt" that doesn't have a driveway attached is the cap from the water company. But the cap piece sticks up a bit from the concrete. Is the water company responsible for fixing the concrete to even it out b/c it's a tripping hazard??
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they removed the skirt all together and just continued the grass there. Do you think they'll do that? Has anyone had experience with this? It's South Farmingdale Water Distict.

As far as I know you have to replace the cement in that area or fill it in and make it grass with a curb.
