I would look at www.greatschools.net.
Besides having a teacher getting it on with his students last year, I really havent heard anything negative

My husband is a teacher there so I am biased - but check them out on that website - their test scores are just as high as the other districts around here!

I would check out the school report card, but I would call it middle of the range for LI schools. Great special ed program though

My wife teaches in Levittown, and I know the schools are good because we looked into them before buying in the area

I am a product of Levittown schools & my mom is a teacher within the schools too. They are very good in my eyes & have great programs

I think Newsday a few weeks ago had an article/chart on the nassau schools and their ratings.
We currently rent in Levittown, and will buy our first home here as well. No kids yet, but we're happy w/the schools they'll be attending down the road.
