Is the Holtsville Ecology Center good for a 14m old?
I'm thinking about going tomorrow. Will it be good for 14m DS?

they have a lot of nice animals

its free. you park in the parking lot and just walk in

The playground was closed this weekend...I think they are redoing the pool there, so that whole area is closed. My kids were disappointed because they love the playground there.

They redid the playground a year or so ago. The holiday light show was cancelled b/c the town supervisor didn't put it in the budget, but the Ecology Center is still operational as far as I know.

I think they are just using the playground area to get to the pool. That is a very new playground, so I'd be surprised if they redo it. They have cut back the hours so the ecology site closes earlier.

I took my son a few time over the summer and he is 18m. He loves it. Sometimes we meet for play dates.
