oh man, that body....those bodies.
I think I know why I don't find Phelps' face all that attractive- his gums, his teeth and ears. Definitely not BAD looking, but the face does not match the body in awesomeness.

Last night I had friends over. Talk turned to the Olympics and of course our local hometown hero Michael Phelps (I live in MD).
Anyway, it turns out my friend's DH works right by where MP lives. Apparently he sees him all the time. He says he is a TOTAL "Yo-Boy"- baggy pants, sideways baseball cap, drives a pimped out Escalade (with his NAME on it ) with the rap music blasting. I had to laugh because it's so NOT what I pictured Phelps to be in "everyday life". Then again, I suppose that what in for the 23 year old guys nowadays....

I've heard that about him. I read somewhere that his first purchase with his first big payout was that Escalade, which he bought used. Also, some of the pictures I've seen of him actually dressed is of him with baggy jeans and the side cocked hat.
While typically this would not be my thing... I have made an exception for him!
Oh and I know this is bad but this little known fact cracks me up about him...
Back in '04 he was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana. It was shortly after Athens and he was 19 years old. He apparently blew a stop sign and got nabbed.
I don't know, this just made me chuckle. I know I've been there, though luckily I never got caught or into trouble.

wow! i would have never pegged him to be that guy, but i guess you are right. i suppose that is what a 23 year old would do these days.

Yeah, he's got a pretty squeeky clean image but I agree, it is how guys his age roll.
