yes it is the ususally 2-3 days but in some cases up to 5 days.

Yes. That is why it is recommended to BD in the days to prior to ovulation because it takes time for them to travel and they can live up to 5 days inside of you thereby greatly increasing your odds of conception.

thats what i thought!
we BD'd sunday night & accoring to mymonthlycycles.com, i will O on wednesday....im not sure how accurate that is, but i figured it would increase chances even if i O a day earlier or later than the 17th

Yes its true – it CAN live up to three days or so. But keep in mind that that is only in ideal conditions – plenty of EWCM and perfect PH levels. I wouldn’t count on them living that long every time – every cycle. It depends how hospitable your internal environment is.
In general I think 1-2 days is average and 3-5 days is the longer extreme. But hey – it can never hurt to BD early!!

i dont THINK i have any EWCM yet, however is that always something you will see externally?
DH and i did O at the same time which i know that helps as well!
