What was your DH's reaction?
mine dropped the phone. but i was having twins!
dh and i are divorcing, its not his, its my boyfriends.... he's ecstatic!
its complicated..... DH and i separated last year for several months.... i started seeing someone special (Gam).. lived together, the whole 9..... but, things were complicated and i got my own place..... dh lived across the street form me and we shared custody of the dogs... i felt so bad for him and he begged to get back together and i figured i owed him it. tried counsiling, etc.. i was completely miserable, my heart was not in it, i was always still in love with Gam....
anyway, so i was miserable, he was miserable, he cheated on me and left me.....
i almost immediatly got back with Gam because we still had major undeniable feelings and our situations became better and it was better timing.
anyway, we've been back together since early Sept. and were planning on getting a place together and eventually getting married and having kids.
its weird, i just made a post about a week ago asking about ppls feelings on being pg before being married. strange.
anyway, so we werent TRYING to get pregnant and were taking percautions, but we couldnt be happier.
i told him and he was very happy. he's sweet. he was like "you need to eat better, need prenatal vitamins, we need to get you insurance, etc"
its still VERY VERY early but we're thrilled.
i know it sounds bad, but i never REALLY could picture me and dh having children. its amazing how you meet someone and it all makes sense. DH was my first love, but it wasnt meant to be.
i wish we were married first, but we cant really change that now. itll happen after the baby is born.
