Is it possible to ovulate without a smiley?

I didn't get a positive reading this month, had a uti and then last night. My cycles have been so wacky, I'm not sure what my average cycle length is. All I know is that even on the days that my monthly cycles said I should O, I didn't get a positive reading.

Does that mean anything?

I have a pretty regular cycle and my smiley doesn't always match up with what monthlycycle.com says. Sometimes you ovulate earlier or later then usual for whatever reason and since you say that you cycles can be wacky you may have not ovulated yet. I would keep testing- good luck!!

i have seen girls not get a smiley and ovulate for sure that cycle because they ended up with a BFP.

It is possible definitely. You could have a shorter LH surge period and just be missing it on the OPKs. What time of day do you usually test? Do you test once a day or twice? Also, FF could be off, I would start testing on CD9 and test everyday in the afternoon or evening, probably I would do afternoon AND evening if I haven't been getting smileys in a few cycles.
