Is it possible...
...for Alex to be at the beginning stages of teething? She's only 11 weeks, but today especially she has been so clingy to me, drooling a ton, putting her fists in her mouth but refusing a bottle, etc... Just before the only thing that calmed her down was to GNAW on my finger! I mean, she wasn't just sucking, she was biting down. So could this be the beginning? I mean, she seems so young!

OMG Alyson has been doing this too! Last week she'd **** a 5 oz bottle dry! Now, I'm lucky if she'll take 3-4 oz of a 6 oz bottle! She blows spit bubbles and puts her own hands in her mouth all the time

I thought this too, but my doctor said that this is around the time that their salivary glands start working and the discover their glands. Bella has been drooling for months and just recently exhibited the signs of true teething...but everyone is different, I know Beth's (Bxgell) little girl Alex got some early teeth...

Re: Is it possible...
According to my "What to Expect the First Year" book, teething can begin as early as 10 weeks, with an actual tooth not cutting for months to come. Jacob is doing the same things as Alex.. some days he is worse than others so I do think its possible..

Definitely possible. Steven cut 2 teeth at 4 months which means he started teething at 2 months!!!!!

Matthew has been eating his fists too the last couple of weeks. He is trying to find his fingers but gags on them when he finds them. I was wondering if he was starting to teeth as well. I guess this is the age they start doing this.

Re: Is it possible...
Yup, sounds like it! Alex started teething at around the same exact time. Her first tooth popped out about 4 weeks later! Now, she's 5 and a half months and has her two bottom teeth, and she's teething AGAIN this week so I'm assuming the top two are on their way!

My two have been teething for what seems like an eternity! Still no teeth though, I keep checking everyday but nothing!
