IS it ok to give DD maple syrup with pancakes?
I let DD have waffles at daycare today and the teacher told me she started gagging on them because they were too dry. At home I give her syrup but at daycare they said no because shes too young.
What do you put on your LO's pancakes or waffles so they aren't so dry. I always give syrup! uhoh!

Yes- the pancake syrups you buy aren't even real maple...usually just sugar and flavor.
Should be fine

I think you can. My son prefers apple butter on his pancakes, my DD likes them dry, but I have given them the pure maple syrup.

I give DS pure maple syrup (a TINY amount) on his. You can also use applesauce instead of syrup if the daycare has a problem with it.

You can gie syrup...I also give whipped cream on the side and both boys love it with their pancakes.

I usually send my kids in with pancakes/waffles/french toast with some pure maple syrup on it to keep it moist. They love it!
