Is it normal to be so nervous???

And almost expect something to go wrong? My DH, MIL and Mother are telling me to stop, but I keep thinking something is going to go wrong. I am 8 weeks today and so nervous for my sonogram tomorrow.

Anyone else feel this overwheling feeling somethong was just not right and have everything turn out ok? I must sound nuts

Well, you're not alone. I haven't stopped worrying since the moment I got my BFP. I know it is bad for me to stress so much. I just hope my anxiety is not a bad sign. I am trying to think positive.

I have had previous losses, so I am always scared.

It is so much easier said than done but try to relax a little. Being nervous is totally normal and I think most of us have been there at some point in our pregnancies. Just don't let it drive you crazy and try to enjoy the ride

I've been worried since day 1. Even after coming home from sono and seeing hb I was still nervous. I was supposed to get another sono last weekend to date the preg but machine was broken so now the worry drags on until next Tues when I can have it done already. I will have completed 10w and the unknown is killing me.

I think it's very normal, at least it is for me. I'm always surprised when they tell me everything is perfect. I can't wait for my 16 week appointment next week for more confirmation. I'm hoping this will be the appointment that will help ease my nerves but we'll see.

I think so! At least I hope so! I'm a ball of nerves! I can't wait until my 12wk sono. I think that will calm my nerves a bit.

Yes its normal. I was very nervous with my first I would almost get myself sick before my sono appointments because I was always afraid of bad news. I had mc in May so I am actually more nervous and afraid with this pregnancy. I hate it, my dh keeps reminding me there isn't anything I can do and to just relax but its very difficult.

I am 14weeks and still a nervous wreck. Its totally normal especially at the first ultrasound. After a few ultrasounds it gets easier. I have to say, now that Ive passed the 12 week mark and saw the baby at 12 weeks I am def. a little bit at ease.

It's totally normal. I just want to see a heartbeat then I think I will relax, just a little bit

Thanks girls. I thought I was being paranoid and crazy! Hopefully the next month goes fast!

I am always nervous! DH tells me to relax and I want to say not so nice things. lol

I am 36w4d and I'm still nervous as hell that something could go wrong

Nope definitely not alone... and this nervousness won't end until you have the baby... and then a whole new bunch of things to worry about will be there.
We have to take the miracles for what they are and just leave the rest to our faith in whomever/whatever you believe it... they are the powers that be.

I'm 5wks 2days and I've been nervous since we got the BFP! I'm so nervous that something is going to happen before we get to see the baby for our first appt. I just keep telling myself that whatever is going to happen will, and I need to just be calm! It's easier said than done, unfortunately.

almost 23 weeks along and just as nervous now as i was the day i got my BFP. Its normal unfortunately
