is it normal for my 5 week old baby
to ALWAYS explode out of her diaper when she poos? I even went up to a size 1 and again today all over everything!!

im not sure...it could depend on the diapers..my dd has been constipated since like 2 weeks old, but before that she used to EXPLODE..but pampers swaddlers were awesome and kept most of it in. i heard huggies leak...i wouldnt go up a size because that would prob make it leak as well..maybe change diapers.if you are really worried call dr...like if there is blood in the poo...HTH..

yes she is! I'm convinced she does it so I give her a bath everyday!! She loves the bath!
I am using Pampers Swaddlers. Maybe I'm not putting them on tight enough? it comes up onto her belly and back. Always fun getting the onesies off and over her head without getting it on her face!! Poor baby!!
eta: no blood (thankfully) and we go to the doctor for her check up tomorrow...I'll let him know!

awwww sounds like you have your hands full.. i used to take dd's onsies off from her feet end...she still hates when i put thing over her head..im prob stretching out all her clothes..

Jodi...try ones in huggies. Gillian is wearing all kinds and not having that problem BUT I definitely do not prefer the pampers swaddlers. I can feel wetness from the outside every time even though its not leaking. I will use them until I run out but I will eventually change I think.

DW tried a few different brands until she stayed with Huggies. Different brands fit a little differently. It's possible another type may work better.... both of our kids had similar problems, but not every time, just once in a while, so it was a fun "surprise" when it happens...

Oh yes! Every time my son pooped I had to change his whole outfit.. what a mess and we tried different diapers
