Is it appropriate for Dh to come to appt?
I'm having my first baby - not sure how this works. I have an appt today and I'm AROUND 9 weeks - should DH come with or no? My only other appt was around 6 weeks (he didn't come) and we saw a heartbeat :)

I have one today too at just over 9 weeks!
Yes, DH comes to all my appointments. He asked me if I would want his mom to come if he can't (my parents don't live here). I told him he works for himself/his parents....he's coming to every appointment

My Dh comes to all my appts. He likes to be there to hear the heartbeat each time.

DH came to the first couple and the NT Scan and Anatomy Scan for my 1st. He came to the Anatomy Scan for my 2nd and he came to my 2nd appt this time (but it wasn't on purpose- my phone was dead and he came looking for me because I had been at the dr for over 3 hours. So, both my kids and DH were stuffed in the little exam room with me while I had an intravaginal sono   )

I had DH come ot any sono appt. So really just my appt with my RE and then ist appt with my OB, my Amnio, and then 20 week scan. He never came for the monthly appts and then when I had issues and was seeing Drs weekly DH never came to them because he would have missed too much work.

since we went to an RE DH came to all appointments until i graduated. when i went to my regualr ob he wanted to go to all sono appointments. when i had the amnio he was there too

DH is working nights, so gratefully he's been to every appt. I like having an extra set of ears with me in case I forget something the doctor said!

DH comes to all the sono appointments and any important appointments. He usually doesn't come to the prenatal visits if they are just checking the heartbeat and answering some questions. My last appt he came but they went over the classes and cord blood info.
Otherwise I have my mom come. If I were working and going to appts after work then I would have him come to them all (even though we have a doppler at home so he doesn't need a dr appt to hear the heartbeat). But since I'm unemployed, I'd rather go during the day when the office is empty.

DH comes to all my appointments when he can. We have a 2 year old and its hard. He comes to all my sono's for sure!

if theyre not doing a sono, i dont think you HAVE to have him there. they mainly talk to you and answer your questions. for my first, my DH was not there for the initial appt, just the sonos.
