Is "dropping" a sign baby's coming soon?
So I will be 36 weeks on Monday...and today I had a few people (at work, MIL, DH) tell me that I look as if I dropped a bit...
does this have any significance? does it mean baby is getting ready to come out? like possibly early?
or could that happen still weeks before delivery?
THANKS!!! (wishful thinking lol)

If your belly drops, it could mean that the LOs head in dropping into your pelvic space... though it doesn't mean it'll be soon, it is a good sign that s/he is getting ready.

I would say that I "dropped" with my first pregnancy about 3-4 weeks before I delivered. I ended up having a c-section because of her size so I never went late...not sure when I would have went into labor on my own!

People have told me that I dropped but I honestly dont see it nor do I feel it. The baby is still high up in my ribs like she always has been. I dont really think people know what they are talking about when they say that. lol. Its like we are supposed to "drop" so they say we did. I have no clue.
