Is Clearblue Monitor Worth It
My husband and I are talking about having a new baby. I am 42 and on Nora-Be for cramps. I know the age will cause problems but will the BC cause any (I am going off after I finish this pack). Also, would it be worth buying this

I love mine! And to answer your question re the bc - some people have issues, some don't. I personally (30 yo) got accidentally pregnant the month I went off the pill and miscarried. They say to wait 3 cycles after going off the pill.

I liked mine. Before you buy it new, check out ebay b/c you can get a perfectly fine used one for even less. I got mine used and just had to reset it when I first got it and I saved so much money.

Pretty much same as this except it wasn't an accident (and I was 33 at the time) - i just didn't listen and wish I had.

I do know a number of women who went off the pill and got preggo right away and it stuck, but for me it didn't work. I know that different bc pills have different formulations, so I'm sure that might have something to do with it... Best of luck to you!

I love the CB Monitor.
I bought inexpensive OPKs and used them along side my first set of CB test sticks I found them difficult to read and became useless to me.
I bought my first package of CB for @ $50 at CVS. It included 10 sticks and the monitor. I recently bought 30 sticks for @ $64 at CVS.
I think the price is good but purchased separately I actually got more sticks for about the same price.
I also temp. That has also helped me know when to start testing.

Thanks for the help. Nora-Be does not really prevent (it has no estrogen) you from getting pregnant it is for breast feeding mothers. My doctor said I would have to be off the pill one month.

If you do get the monitor, I recommend getting the sticks on Amazon using Subscribe and Save. Much cheaper than buying them in the store.

I just realized the sticks I got are for the Fertility Monitor and I originally purchased the Ovulation Kit. They fit and displayed results. Big Google around and they seem to work together.
Just wanted to let you know this because of the price difference.
