invite etiquette
I sent out Jacob's invites the other day for his 2nd Birthday party and I addressed them only to his friends ( not the family)...
One of his friends has a sibling- 3 months old--- should she have been included in the invitation???
I think that the mom was annoyed because when she RSVP'd, she said her husband couldn't come because he had to watch the daughter...
We are pretty friendly with them...
Personally, I just assumed that if they came that they would bring her with them...
Should I not have assumed...
This etiquette get a little tricky...

Re: invite etiquette
I always include the sibs names, or if there's more than 2, I just write "Smith Kids"... although I only have one friend crazy enough to have 3 kids.
When I had my 4 year old's party, I only invited his classmates, not their sibs, but with *my* friends, I include all of the kiddies.
Just mention to her that of course the baby is welcome.
Can you believe our boys are 2?!

Re: invite etiquette
I think maybe you should have. People don't like to assume anything these days...
I would just call quickly and let them know...it IS hard...
I can't wait for RSVP's

Re: invite etiquette
I can't believe all of these babies are two!
I only bring the child on the invite to a party, the other stays home. But, I always invite the siblings to my children's birthday parties just in case someone has a babysitting problem.
Also there is nothing like getting a 5 year old ready for a party that a 3 year old isn't invited to - the crying is LOUD.
