introducing eggs.....

I am trying to introduce eggs to my 10 month old son but they seem so dry. Am I doing something wrong?

I seperated the yolk from the whites (to cook only the yolk). I didn't mix it with anything else. He took two pieces and that was it. Chat Icon

Any suggestions..

Re: introducing eggs.....

I mixed the yolk in with applesauce...my son HATED it but luckily still ate it and now i know we are good to go with egg yolk....next I am going to just give him scrambled eggs...

Re: introducing eggs.....

I never separated them. I just made my DD regular scrambled eggs (using the whole egg) and mixed it with a little milk starting around 6-7 months old.

Re: introducing eggs.....

if they don't have a milk sensitivity, you can add a little milk and butter

Same for me, but started at 9 months.

I hard boiled and peeled off the white, then mixed the yolk with fruit. Pick your DC's fave, my little man ate it up with mangos. :)

Same, but around 11 months for us. We add cheese to it sometimes too, yum! Chat Icon

Re: introducing eggs.....

we started eggs at 9 months and I gave her just the egg yolk hard boiled
then at 10 months we introduced the entire egg - we just gave it to her as a scrambled egg with cheese.
