Intro and question
Hi everyone! I am back here after a m/c last November and almost 10 months of ttc. I'm so excited to finally be pregnant again! We go for our second sono this Thursday and are hoping to see a heartbeat by then. I will be 7 weeks tomorrow, but was measuring a little behind last week when I went.
My question is, my nausea has started to set in and it's making me pretty miserable. Besides crackers and gingerale, does anyone have any other tips? I can't stand feeling so nauseous!

Re: Intro and question
i wore seabands for 13 weeks and they seemed to help ease it up a bit, but it was still pretty bad. my dr recommended taking a half of B6 and half of unisom 3 times a day. I only did it before bed because I did not want to be taking a sleep aid and drive and work, but it seemed to help quite a bit... again, I still didn't feel good, but it eased it up a bit

Re: Intro and question
Congrats and...mine was so bad and I'm 12 weeks now and finally feeling better. It started at 5 weeks and I was so miserable. Nausea all day. Anyway, I did like sour patch kids and bagels. Also, just know that time is the best remedy. I started to wonder if I'd ever feel better, but I promise...you will!!!

Intro and question
Congrats and welcome! I didn't have MS too bad but I was pretty queasy for a while. Small carb meals were helpful. I never found any one thing that really helped but I'm happy to say it totally went away by 15 weeks or so. I'm 21 weeks now and don't have even a trace of nausea. Most likely it will get better, try to hang in there! If it's really bad your doctor can give you Zofran (an anti-nausea medication), you might want to talk with them about it.

Re: Intro and question
Congrats!! I got the preggie pop drops and I did think they helped. I thought in general sucking candy helped - I also sucked on life savers. Eating a dry bagel in the AM also helped.

Intro and question
CONGRATS! I had MS up until 13 weeks and anything with lemon worked for me: hot lemon water lemon drops even just sucking on a lemon from time to time Also...(if you can) try to have small meals every couple of hours
Goodluck and hang in there!

Re: Intro and question
I bought ginger gum from walgreens (same company as seabands and in the same section), i used it only when it got REALLY bad and it definitely helped. I also grated ginger root (with one of those micro-zester graters) into my poland spring water bottles and put a few slices of lemon in there too, that definitely helped as well to just sip all day. Congratulations!!

Re: Intro and question
Congratulations! Apples worked for me. And also avoiding an empty stomach. I'd eat saltines that I kept on my night table before I even got out of bed in the mornings.

Re: Intro and question
Congrats! Eating helped me even if I didn't feel like it. If I let myself get hungry I would throw up. I ate the minute I woke up in the morning. Also jolly ranchers and lollypops. Seabands worked well for a friend of mine.

Intro and question
Congrats!!!
Try not to let yourself get hungry. That's when I would always get nauseous-- if I waited too long to eat.
