intestinal flu for the third day now...
is this even possible? I've been throwing up and sick with diahhrea (sorry tmi!) for the third day now... I have stabbing pains in my stomach (on either side near my ribs) and I can't keep food down. All I had today was broth, saltines and gingerale, and out it came in one form or another.
Is anyone else sick like this? I called into work again tomorrow - it will be my third day in a row out! I'm going to the doctor in the AM, but what can he really do for me? Do I wait this out? 
ETA: I'm NOT pg, TRUST me.

I had that bug last week (and I am 39 weeks pg so I was convinced it was the beginning of labor).
Luckily mine didn't last that long but I have been hearing stories from other coworkers who said they slept on the floor in the bathroom it was so bad.

aw feel better! Take small sips of gatorade, wait 15-20 minutes if you can keep that down then a few more sips.

So many people do- its so true!!!
DS had it for a week-- then gave it to me- which lasted about 3 days...
I wanna say EVERYONE I know got it from anywhere between 1-7 days

It definitely is going around.....I work in a school and lots of the kids and teachers have it....I hear it lasting from as many as 1 day to about a week. Just hang in there and keep yourself hydrated....feel better!!
