insurance companies blow...
god help me... united health care is really bad at updating their physician info.
Now i know i live in Pa, but its certainly not the boonies..but trying to find an RE is impossible. 1 is listed in my area and her # is disconnected. She's now in Philly. (which isnt far, but i'd like someone closer b/c its easier for me to get to).
i tried other #'s to GYN's all disconnected or dr's arent at the office anymore.
So since i work in NYC, im going to one near work..got an appt for 2 weeks from now at Columbia University Repro Center.
amen a # i dialed worked..LOL
this is so frustrating!!

i have United Healthcare too..
have you gone on their website at all ? the www.myuhc.com
thats what i use.. and its seems to be updated all the time .

yep..thats where i got the #'s from. i did the physician finder. I think its just my area. i had better luck with the NYC #'s.
u would think i lived in Timbuktu!!

by the way, do you have UHC EPO or PPO?
i have thePPO plan 90/50..just curious to your experiences with dealing with fertility issues and what they cover...

i have the PPO plan too..
my plan covers almost everything with the Infertility tests.. etc..
i have been very lucky so far!
yea they are not doing a great job of updating around your area.. have you tried calling the number and asking them when the last time it was updated? maybe they can send you something

i've tried that before...the rep looks up using the same tool...so they were giving me the same #'s..LOL i had to tell them it wasnt current.
sometimes it is the dr's fault for not updating..but really...enough's enough.
glad to hear they've been paying for everything. thats comforting!

okay.. well what if you just call your doctors offices near you and see if they take UH.. have you tried that?
