infant pulling on ear
My 3 month old is pulling on one ear and crying. She is not congested at all so I'm not sure it's an ear infection. Could she possibly be teething? She ha been drooling like crazy and chewing on her hands.

Could be teething and I would lean towards that if there are no congestion symptoms. But keep an eye on her temp... you may want to take her to get her ears checked just in case.

my daughter did this all the time when she was teething... if she has a fever than i would consider going to the doctor to see if it is an ear infection.

Honestly, I know this sounds gross, but smell the ear. An ear infection sometimes leaves an odor and some discharge. Most likely though, it is teething. DD pulls on her ears A LOT and has never had an ear infection. It's always been teething related.

Pulling on ear, drooling and chewing on hands are all signs of teething.

sounds like teething to me. If it was an ear infection she'd probably have a low grade fever.
