infant not napping!
My 6 week old DD is having a tough time napping during the day. She gets up between 7-730 every morning and will take a 30 minute cap nap and then go down say around 1230 or 1 until 4 and then not again until bed say 8 or 9 lately! She isnt sleeping for as long of stretches like she was before!! She has to be swaddled to sleep bc she has quite the startle reflex, wakes her up screaming! Lately she is restless with the swaddle trying to break out..and does! If i dont swaddle her she wont sleep at all...
Anyone else experience this?!

my guess.... growth spurt! if that's the case, it will pass. DS had a long spurt that lasted a whoppin' 2 weeks at that age (6 weeks to 8 weeks)....

freaky isnt it?
AJ did that for awhile.. at first I thought it was just me.. so I timed her whole day.
She went a full day with 3 naps and a total of 1 and hour of sleep. The longest nap was a half hour.
It did pass but it scared me at first that she needed her sleep and wasnt getting it. But she seemed happy to be awake and never really cranky so I let it go. That and she ate really well.
