infant car set stroller
How long did you keep your baby in the car seat and attach to stroller? My LO is 3 months, but a big boy..and I always feel bad, like he's scrunched up in the car seat when I put it on the stroller, but I hate that if I just put him in the stroller I can't see him since it's facing the other way.

DS is 6.5 months and we still use the car seat on the stroller sometimes, when it makes sense to just bring the frame (when traveling etc).

Ha, DD is 6 months and I still have her in the infant seat. I figure when it gets a little warmer I will just put her in the stroller. Right now it easier to have the bundle me on the carseat than to try to get a jacket on her.

We switched LO at 6 months... I'm sure we could've waited a little longer, but he seemed a little squished in there and it was getting to be nearly impossible to carry him in the carrier- so heavy!

DH talk about this all the time. DS is 3 months as well and is a big boy... hoping to get to September with his infant seat and the snap and go.
If we are doing a lot of walking - I put him in the regular stroller. He has more space there

I am thinking about getting the Snap and Go but didn't know if it was worth getting now. But my stroller (chicco) is soo heavy and it's a pain to lug out every time I go anywhere.

My dd is on the small side and I just decided to switch her today ... She's 10.5 months. I just cannot carry the carseat anymore. Between her weight and the carrier, it's like 30 lbs  I was waiting for the weather to get warmer so I wouldn't have to put a jacket on her... We've always had a bundle me on her carrier otherwise.

I'm still using it approaching a year. DD was very scrunched at first but we took out the infant insert which helped a lot. I also took out the headrest later and she still has plenty of room, although the length is starting to cut it close.

DD is 9.5 months and we use both the snap and go and the city mini, depending on if she is sleeping or if I just have to run in someplace quickly. She is small, and often falls asleep in the car, so I prefer using the carrier so that she continues napping. When we're going somewhere where there's a lot for her to see, and she's awake, we use the city mini.

at 3 months, DS outgrew the infant carrier (he was just at the height limit, not nearly at the weight limit) so we switched him out of it at that point.
Though i miss being able to see him while strolling, he seems to enjoy watching the world rather than me so i guess it works out.
I miss not having to wake him up to take him out of the car/stroller though

DS is very small so he was still in the infant seat at 12months! Hes only 18lbs and and 27in (our infant seat went up to 30lbs and 30 in) but it was starting to get heavy carrying him in that so we just switched to a convertible car seat and regular stroller.
