inexpensive DIY shower invitations?
my mom wants to print her own so i said i would help her find some.
any ideas where they definitely have some? she said she checked target with no luck. i don't want her spending $1.50 each to get it printed by a place online.

Have you checked out AC Moore?
They have some that already designed (and cute too) and all you have to do is get the info printed on there and you can do it from your home computer.
If they arent on Sale....use the 40% coupon. I have them online if you want. If you need more than one, seperate the purchase.
HTH ETA: I just looked up their flyer and all their baby accesories, including invites are 30% off

Re: inexpensive DIY shower invitations?
My mom ordered my shower invitations from this website and they are really cute...she was also able to get matching baby shower bingo cards too. They really weren't that expensive.

My mom ordered mine from polkadotdesign.com and then printed them herself on the computer. I also just ordered DS christening invites and I am printing them myself as well.

Re: inexpensive DIY shower invitations?
I did my sisters invites by hand-she may have a pic if you want to FM her(Stephanief)
Basically I took white cardstock printed on the front and formatted it to print on the other side to teh right so you could fold it(like a book) Then I took a piece of light blue vellum and wrapped that around the front. On top of that I took a black and white checkered ribon, wrapped it around the vellum in the center and tied it. Then I found clip art of a man and woman dancing in sillouhette and placed that on top of the ribbon with a sticky 3-d dot(from teh scrapbooking section at AC Moore's) I probably spent around $20 for 40 invites-this was a bridal shower BTW. I could help you--I LOVE making invitations-I made my own wedding invites
