Induction vent
So I come to hospital to be induced...I'm over 40 weeks...my doctor wants to start at 4 am, so they make me get here at 2:30 am I havnt slept because i was nervous...so I get here check in and am told there are no beds and to go wait in the waiting room...I'm so annoyed i could be home sleeping, I know I'm not in labor and can wait but it just sucks and had to vent

I would be annoyed too. I had a scheduled csection and was worried about the same thing happening because they said they have to take care of women in labor first, of course, so I was told it was possible I would have to wait. Good luck I hope they don't make you wait too long!

Ugh, that's so frustrating. I'm surprised they didn't have you call first. Hopefully you're not waiting too long - good luck!

I'd be pissed also but unfortunatly thats the way it goes. I've been induced a few times and even if they had a bed, by the time they have you checked in and do everything, it's never at the time they say anyways. Hang in there, it will happen!! and soon you'll be able to meet your LO!

Im worried about the exact same thing for tomorrow. Easier said than done but try to hang in there - there is a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel

so frustrating... I went in for induction - 730 or later - showed up 830 and had to wait over an hour
