Indoor Water Toys?
Does anyone know if there are any toys (for ~2 YO) that include water for indoor play? My son is obsessed with playing in water. He points and cries for the sink and tub allllll daaaaayy looooong! Looking for something that involves water but won't make a huge mess indoors. I'll put it in the kitchen/tile floor so a little spill can be easily cleaned up but obv no water table or anything like that where he can pour out large amounts. TIA!

I give dd two bowls worth a little water and a measuring dropper. She can spend hours squirting the water from one bowl into the other.

aluminum baking pans, shallow Rubbermaid containers, cups, funnels, bath toys, beach toys from the summer...the water is the main attraction, i don't think you need to get specific toys. I let her wash her hands in a big container of water after painting, let her wash her toys...

This. I've also let her have two small bowls and a small plastic pourable measuring cup and she just goes between them but occasionally that causes a big spill of water and it gets frustrating. The measuring dropper is a lot easier!!!
What about water coloring--- the aquadoodle is perfect!
also water and a paintbrush on a small chalkboard

Also, maybe try similar activities without water. Dd loves a container or two of dry beans that she can scoop and pour. She knows she's not allowed to pour the big container bc that causes big spills but aside from that she drops some here and there but it's not bad. I've had the same container from one bag of beans since she was 18 months and she's now 3.5 and still enjoys it.

Re: Indoor Water Toys?
Thanks Ladies! Definitely looking into the hot wheels cars! Re: the around the house stuff - it's a great idea and one he's been using for a while. He pours the water back and forth, pretends to 'cook' for us and we even have to pretend to sample his work of art LoL. But, it's starting to lose it's luster and he wants at the big stuff (sink and tub). He's far too young to play with these things independently (just under two yrs) and he makes a HUGE mess so want something new and exciting to catch his attention for a bit!

DS has a few toys that you can dip the "pen" into water or fill the pen up with water and "color." When they dry the color goes away, and then you can color it all over again. He loves them.
