Helmet or no helmet for indoor ride on toys.

I'm doing an indoor Cars theme birthday party and setting up a race track with ride on toys. There will no motorized vehicles. It'll be mostly buggies, trikes and plasmacars. Do you think the kids have to wear helmets? If you are familiar with plasmacars they go pretty fast. Kiddie City has them and the kids there don't wear helmets. I would never have even thought of bringing helmets to the party. I only have 1 helmet for DS. help.

This is at your home or at a place?

If it's at your house- I would say no helmets needed.

If it's at a place, I would call and check their regulations!

I would say no helmets since it's inside your house. We use the Plasma cars at Dutch and no one wears helmets. They are so low to the ground that the odds of tipping over are NIL.

But, if you decide to go with helmets, I would tell your guests to bring one if they have it. I am completely skeeved out by sharing helmets

I dont think its needed... if you had a bicycle where they could fall down - and hardwood floors- then I'd consider it.

It is at a venue. We have the entire dance floor and was going to set up a race track but we have to put down protective floor covering.
I didnt' want to ask guests to bring their own helmet because they will want to bring their on ride on toys as well and it will get out of control. I am providing 2 plasmacars, one buggy and one tricycle.
I also feel like if I ask the venue they will say yes to the helmet if given the option. :(
