In some pain.....
I don't know what is going on I went to the doctor on Wednesday for blood and sono and I had a lot of small follicles (CD10). Last night and today, I have pain in what feels like my right ovary - a sharp pain. I don't know what it could be. I am going in tomorrow for monitoring but until then, I'm worried. Any ideas?

Re: In some pain.....
Maybe your body is gearing up to ovulate? I get sharp pains on either side a day or two before I'm going to ovulate.
Are you on Clomid? My RE warned me that I would "feel" ovulation more when I was on Clomid - maybe that's what's going on?

Re: In some pain.....
I get this from time to time, at times when I definitely know I'm not ovulating. I have no clue what it is, but it is normal.

Re: In some pain.....
that's ovulation. I get it and it's called mittleschmerz (sp)..it's really the the most fool proof way to know I'm ovulating..that and the digital OPK..seems to always coincide.

ITA- I get this pain frequently actually... not very fun. It kind of comes and goes in waves, but the pain is sometimes intense.

Re: In some pain.....
I'm not really sure it's ovulation pains. I had blood work/sono done on Wednesday and they want me back in tomorrow because my levels indicated I wasn't ready to ovulate (my cycles are usually very long). It's really very uncomfortable (especially when I walk).

Re: In some pain.....
I get it too. I think its "growing" pains - you have multiple follies that are all growing at the same time and that causes pain as they get bigger.

That would be GREAT if it were growing pains! I need these follies to grow because they are too small!!!!

Re: In some pain.....
I had all kinds of strange sensations in my ovaries while stimming. I think it's fairly common but def. mention it in tomorrow's appointment.

Re: In some pain.....
I noticed my follie pain got worse after eating. see if when you are full (water or food) if you feel pressure. I had so much pressure and i didn't have that many follies (3 on left, 5 on right). Also, something to think about (TMI). Is your underwear or pants pressing on your lower ab? You could be slightly swollen. Also, drink lots of fluids (water).
