In photoshop is it possible...
To upload a word document that has images in it then save it as a jpg or gif?
TIA

Re: In photoshop is it possible...
Not sure, I've never tried that. But, I would just copy and paste the images if that's all you want...
ETA: Well, I just found out you can copy and paste the whole thing. But it comes in as one big image and you probably don't want that because you'd want the ability to edit the text.

Re: In photoshop is it possible...
you could always just open up the word document--- hit print screen on your keyboard and then open up microsoft paint program---Ctrl V to paste -- and then cut the image out that you want and past it into a new image and save as JPG
ETA: this is probably a long way to do things--but i don't have photoshop so that's how i would do it

Re: In photoshop is it possible...
Thanks for tips, i'm going to try it.
Here's what i want to do. I'm very proficient in word, well not so much in photoshop. I'm very frustrated with photoshop at the moment, so I did my DD's whole invite in word.
I want to turn it into a jpg, so i can upload it to a picture site like shutterfly etc. to print out the invites.
ETA: Thank you very much for helping me out with this! Sorry i didn't say it sooner!

Make it into a PDF. From PDF you can open it in Photoshop/Collapse the Layer/Then save as a JPG file.
Make sure to open it as CMYK and 300 dpi.

Re: In photoshop is it possible...
I always do a print screen and then paste into a new psd window when I want to create a jpg.

Re: In photoshop is it possible...
print screen is good in all but this depend on the image and what size your resoultion is on..
CS2 i don't think will allow graphics to be copied..
I know for a fact in CS3, you can copy from Word (i took a clip art) started a new psd, then paste...
Otherwise, you can do a screen print. Select the picture in work, right click copy...then try Photoshop...
Paint will work with copy/paste also

It worked! Thanks!
Before i checked my responses, I actually just copied the whole image from word than pasted into the same size canvas in photoshop and saved it.
HOpefully it will work when i upload it, but so far so good!
Thank you everyone!
