Implantation bleeding
When does this usually happen? How normal is light spotting in the 6th week. I am nervous but I called my Dr. and the nurse was like "don't worry, see you in 2 weeks". Is this normal?

Re: Implantation bleeding
No, implantation bleeding would have occurred before you got your BFP ...
Spotting is actually quite common in early pregnancy -- BUT I have to say, I think its AWFUL that the nurse dismissed your call and didn't take your question seriously or at least have you come in for a beta or to see the doctor. ANY spotting or bleeding should be taken seriously during pregnancy and the nurse shouldn't have just said "see you in 2 weeks"
Sorry for TMI, but what color is the spotting - if its brown, it usually means its just old blood and usually nothing to be concerned about.
If the spotting continues (and esp. if you start getting any cramps), I really think you should call back and see your doc .
Good Luck

Re: Implantation bleeding
Thanks, thats the way I felt. There are 2 nurses at dr's office. One is the best and one is the worst. Too bad the worst one was there when I called

Re: Implantation bleeding
Have u been to the drs since the beginning of your pregnancy? If not I would tell her not to worry and you go down. I agree with felicia that Ive heard this happen to others but I think you are the patient and entitled to answers whether this ladies a beyotch or not! Also, keep in mind...this is gonna be your OB office for the next 9 months. If you are not comfortable I would change now. I did and it worked out great!
